Brookfield 12x16 Storage Shed Kit
This 12' Barn Kit Shed will be a great addition to any yard. The 5'4" wide door opening can accommodate your riding mower or four-wheeler. Centered doors allow quick access to storage on both sides. What's the difference between regular barn kits and the Ezup kit? The main difference is that the siding and roof sheathing are precut with the Ezup kit making it quicker and easier for the buyer to install. It provides an attractive comfortable way to store any of your garden and yard tools. The siding has vertical grooves that give an attractive plank look. They are primed so you can paint the color of your choice (latex acrylic paint is recommended). The siding is treated with Composibor and prevents fungal decay and insect damage. The siding is manufactured with wood strands that are pressed into a resin-saturated substrate making it superior to plywood. For extra strength to the trusses, metal hurricane truss hangers are provided to secure trusses to the exterior walls. All required hardware is included. Roof edges and shingles are provided by the owner. The building is shown with 2 optional single-hung windows with shutters, an octagon window, and a cupola.
Optional Floor
Choose between two-floor designs to best suit your needs. If you have an already existing foundation, cement slab, or blacktop then choose no floor kit.
If you prefer to set your foundation directly on grass, the deluxe floor kit would be the floor for you. It includes 4x4 treated runners and gives support to the floor joists. Raising the foundation above the ground the 4 x 4's allow air to flow and eliminate moisture. This kit includes 4x4 treated runners, treated 2 x 4's 16" o.c., and 3/4" plywood. The Nails are included The floor does require cutting and assembly and floor sheathing is not treated.

Please note that these shipments are too large for FedEx and ups and require freight delivery on a semi-truck. The freight company will call you to set up a delivery. Someone will need to be home to sign for it. The freight company will unload it for you curbside.
Siding
The 3/8" siding is made from wood strands, pressed into a resin-saturated substrate, superior to plywood. A cedar texture is embossed into the substrate, free from knot holes and patches. It comes primed and ready for the paint color of your choice. Latex acrylic paint is recommended. It has been treated with Composibor preventing fungal decay and insect damage. The siding is backed with a 50-year limited warranty.

Hardware

Floor
Optional Floor: If you have an already existing level foundation, cement slab, blacktop or gravel base, the floor kit is still recommended as you do not want your siding and walls touching the ground where they can soak up water. If you don’t purchase the floor, you’ll need some sort of wooden base or material to raise the shed off the direct ground. Includes 4x4 treated runners giving support for the floor joists and allows you to set the foundation directly on grass. The runners allow air flow to eliminate moisture. The floor also includes 2x4's and 3/4 plywood. All nails are included. The floor does require cutting and assembly and floor sheathing is not treated.
Windows
Optional Windows: Single-hung aluminum 18x27 windows provide light and ventilation. The lockable frames are durable and easy to operate. Screens limit insects, birds, leaves, etc. Window includes raised panel vinyl shutters ready to paint.
