Nice addition to tent

Bought cover after using the tent a couple times. Glad I did. Tight fit and adds an extra layer of protection from rain, sun, and debris. Keeps top of the tent clean. Held up perfectly in high winds.

bird strikes

My Kodiak tent is great. Camping in Pennsylvania and Wyoming, I had 9 nights of rain. perfectly dry. But i bought the top cover to protect against bird "strikes". It is very well made and works good. only negative is it is heavy duty, weight. I would buy again. Comp. Edge is a good place to buy, nice people, super fast service.

Superior materials and design

Just received today so I cannot speak to its durability. Fit like a glove. Thick material and quality stitching. Simple effective design. I am very pleased.

Sap Guard

I added this item to my Kodiak Canvas tent to keep the sap from the pines from getting onto the roof . Does a great job. Easy to setup. also adds a little sun deflection for temperature control. Looks good too!

cover top tight

The cover top seems to be performing well once it is fully installed. I got it for UV wear protection on the existing tent top to extend the life of the tent. It will do that for sure. A note that it comes tight and took a while to get it installed. I stretched it out over 1 week with a rope and was finally able to muscle it into the ends of the poles on a wet day.

Not bad

So I have used it once and we did get heavy rain. It provides a nice extra layer of protection and I personally like that it makes the tent darker. Totally not necessary but I suspect I will put it up every time.

Q: Brand new 10x10 F-B VX. Set it up at home to "season". Very happy with tent! When we took it down we tried to install the top cover over the ends of the spring bars. No go. Major wrestling match. Could not get the spring bar ends into the "pouches" due to tension fit. Assuming top cover is to be installed onto spring bars (already installed in sleeves and T-pole connectors) before raising the tent? Tips?
