great quality wood

After talking to your Customer Service representative we decided to purchase your kit. They answered every question we had and provided all the documentation we needed to submit to our County for a permit. It took us an entire year from clearing trees, constructing the platform, and building it. Great quality wood and easy to read instructions. If I ever had to build another one I would use your company again.

Shipping Your Best Barns Handcrafted Homestead Wood Shed Kit: What to Expect

Here's what to expect once your Best Barns Handcrafted Homestead Wood Shed Kit ships directly from Greenville, Pennsylvania.

Shipping Timeframe These shed kits are built to order and generally leave the warehouse within 3–5 business days. Processing may take longer during peak season.

Tracking Information Tracking information is emailed after the order ships. The freight carrier will also contact you before delivery to arrange a delivery appointment.

LTL Freight Delivery This oversized wood shed kit ships on one or more large freight pallets through an LTL carrier and is too large for standard UPS or FedEx parcel service. Free liftgate service and driveway drop-off are included. An adult must be present to accept and sign for the shipment.

Delivery Appointment and Inspection Inspect every pallet, carton, and visible component before signing. Note any torn wrapping, crushed materials, missing pieces, or other visible damage on the delivery receipt, even if you choose to accept the shipment. Contact us promptly if anything arrives damaged or missing.

Pro-Tip for Wood Shed Kit Delivery:

Prepare a level driveway or other accessible unloading area before the carrier arrives, and plan for help moving the materials from the drop-off location. This is a large DIY kit that requires on-site assembly. The selected 12' x 16' configuration does not include a loft, floor kit, shingle roof package, windows, or doors, so those items must be added separately or supplied locally. Check local permit and HOA requirements before delivery and construction.

This product has 30-day returns: Simply hang on to the original packaging and contact us within 30 days of receipt if you are not satisfied with this product. We are that confident you will love this product! If something is damaged or defective we will get it replaced at no cost. Our wooden storage shed items have an extremely low return rate.
