Stove Features:

Built to last! – This stove is constructed of heavy 10 and 12 gauge steel so it will hold heat longer, last longer, and keep you warm when it’s freezing outside.
No warping – Your stove top is reinforced with 1" x 1" angle iron so it won’t warp while burning high-heat fuel such as coal. The door is also reinforced and the cylinder shape of the stove body will naturally keep it from distorting.
More Radiant Heat – Because this stove is made of heavy-duty steel, it will hold onto heat longer and provide more radiant heat unlike lighter gauge sheet metal stoves. This will allow you to heat a larger area and will perform better with colder temperatures.
Cook Top – The top of your stove is designed so you have room for a pot or skillet so you can cook a nice hot meal while you’re in the great outdoors.
Compact - All of the accessories fit inside the stove for easy storage and transportation.

I picked up the 10x10 bundle for the upcoming hunting season and just tested it out. It's everything others have said it is. Solid construction on the tent as well as the stove, easy to set up even with only one person and very comfortable.

Tent is great. Came with all items included and shipped and received in 3 days. Set up wasn't too hard and I'm almost 70, just takes me a little longer. Wet the tent down 3 times to shrink the canvas and no leaks at all. Not as heavy as a military canvas tent, thankfully, but is nice quality. One recommendation for the manufacture, Add Velcro patches on the inside of the door and make a lightweight swiveling screen door that can be attached as an option.

High quality tent

My first trip with the 10x10 tent was in May. We had a severe thunderstorm that included 3 hours of torrential rain. I did not see one drop of water inside the tent.The tent worked great for late October and November hunting camps. With temperatures down to 20 at night, we spent comfortable evenings with a Buddy heater. Using a 5x7 carpet helped make the place nice and cozy. I plan to buy a Winnerwell wood stove before my next cold weather trip, which I am sure will keep me as warm as I choose in this size tent. I will use a fireproof mat under it to protect the tent floor.There are pros and cons to the size. With 2 cots, a small table with cookstove, and a buddy heater, it's very comfortable for 2 people. When you add a wood stove, it may get kind of cramped. I can fit my cots in an L shape in the opposite corner from the wood stove. If you have two XL cots, they might not fit well and you may opt for the more spacious 12x12 tent. The 10x10 works great for me.The tent quality is superb. I would definitely buy again.

I've always been a outdoors person I've always fished for cats and carp and I've always went camping I've recently in the last two years gotten into hot tenting now I've owned a lot of tent I think right now I own 6 from one person to 8 person tents I've owned cheep tents and I've owned what I thought where expensive good tents I've been looking for something reliable that I could throw on a river bank or in a campground with the family one I could keep warm and cozy in and could run a portable AC in this tent check's all the boxes frist of all it was simple to buy had plenty of extra options this site has the best or I could find for it and it arrived way faster than I thought it would've all the metrails are high end from the stakes to the poles to the guide lines every thing is double stitched and has reinforced pull out points large windows the best part if it's token care of this something i can pass down to my step kids and my grandson yes is a little bit of money is it a little heavy yes but nice things and things that are going to last beyond ur life time usealy are

Awesome tent!

I’ve only set this tent up once to season it per the instructions, and it was an absolute breeze! Unreal quality, and not a single regret! I can’t wait to use it in a couple of months on a week long hunting trip!

Great tent. 1-man set-up is a work out, but not too bad. The wind will not blow it around like a nylon tent. Materials & workmanship are 1st class.

I love this tent! I recently lost my 25+ year old tent (old friend) to a storm. When I saw this tent, I knew I had found my replacement. Setup is fast and easy. I like the heavy material used in the manufacture. I generally set my tent up in November and take it down in February. (Our deer season is long in Alabama). I know that this tent will be able to handle the weather. I will also be using it for western hunting and am looking forward to many years of use.

Fantastic Tent!

Ordered this from Competitive Edge during Black Friday sale as they had the best possible price. Even with out the sale Competitive Edge had the lowest price. I went with the 10x10 due to price, availability, and the fact that it’s was going to be used primarily for winter camping. Shipping was fast and on time. I set the tent up for Christmas and camped in the backyard with my kids for 3 days. The quality is fantastic, floor is thick and durable, zippers and canvas are of high quality. I’m impressed with the quality of this tent especially considering the price. This looks like it will last a long time as long as it’s cared for. Set up easily with the help of my ten year old. Space is phenomenal. I was able to fit two Disco bed XL bunks in an L shape configuration, a Colorado Cylinder stove (Spruce Model), a 42 inch flatscreen TV, Yeti Roadie cooler, and a small chair. And there was plenty of space to enter the tent and lots of room in the middle. I was amazed that I am able to fit 4 people comfortably with a wood stove. I love the 10x10 and I think that it is a lot of bang for the buck in a small package. The xl disc beds are a tight fit though and would definitely fit better in the 12x12. While they fit just fine in the 10x10 model the feet do extend past the floor by about an inch but it’s not an issue. I ran the spruce stove which is the recommended stove for this tent and it worked great. Really heated up this tent nicely. We camped in -4 the first night and had to open the windows a few times when it got to be too hot from leaving the damper all the way open. Running the stove with the damper down it was perfect. Burned low and slow, kept the perfect temperature, and only needed to be fed every 3-4 hours.All in all I love it and highly recommend it. I plan to also use it in the summer now that I have gotten to experience how nice it is. My kids loved it too and stayed nice and warm. I do wish that they had an attachable awning like they do for the 12x12. That would make this perfect tent even better. The awning wasn’t a deal breaker for me though. If you’re looking for a nice cabin tent with stove jack I don’t think you’ll find a better deal.

Q: I'm seriously thinking about purchasing the 10x10 bundle but I worry about the radiant heat from the stove effecting the side walls. Are there and issues with this that you know if, and would positioning the stove at a 45 degree angle help?

A: Yes, I would position the stove at a 45 degree angle, but I haven't had any issues with the radiant heat and the walls being affected at all and I've used a stove many times over the years in many of the models.
