10x10 Kodiak Flexbow tent

I am a very avid tent camper and have been for 40 years. This is my first cotton tent. The quality of this tent is great. Easy to set up. I have been in rain , 50 mph wind and it does great. I have a $1000 Overlandish tent that isn't near as good as this tent.

Kodiak 10x10 deluxe

Purchased tent with coupon found on line making already low price extra nice. Have used canvas wall tents for years but needed something lighter and easier to set up solo. Kodiak deluxe 10 x 10 fit the bill. Have set up to season and found the ease and quality everything I expected. Great tent. Would highly recommend.

Got both this one and the lesser, for two different uses. Loving the quality of the materials and contrary to other reviews I have seen, there is not a significant smell of plastic on the inside upon first set up.

Great Tent and Service

I ordered the 10x10 Flex tent ! It came with a tear, I was camping in it, so Kodiak overnighted a tent to me ! We have been using this for 1 month and I am overly impressed with this tent. Highly recommend one !!!

Kodiak 10x10 deluxe

The customer service was excellent and shipped without any problems! The price was perfect, of course I got it on sale. I will definitely purchase from Competitive Edge again! About the tent... its amazing! Well made and sturdy. I always wanted a nice tent and decided to take the plunge on this. Its definitely big enough for my wife, baby girl and I with plenty of room to spare. I also purchased the floor liner at the discounted price. In hindsight I wish I had gotten the ground tarp and vestibule while I had a chance for the discount. Lol. All in all I'm very pleased with the tent and service ??

A: Unfortunately due to Tariffs, Kodiak stopped making those for a few months; they have started making them again, but it will likely be a few months before they are available again. I recommend finding one you like, then click the "put me on the waiting list" button This will send you an email once it is available to purchase. You are not charged when you join the waiting list, only when you place the order.

We do have several similar White Duck Tents available if you would like.

Q: I found the question helpful that tent weighs similar to poles& stakes when carried separately. Is that true for the 10×14 too? I will use a sheepherder cook stove outside the awning, so it'd be nice to have awnings on both sides. But all must go on pack stock, so division weight is important. Thank you.

A: The 6051 basic weights 68.8 lbs, the 6010 deluxe weighs, 72.6 lbs, and the 6013 super deluxe weighs 78 lbs. That's the total weight with both the pole and tent body bags combined. They are roughly half that per bag so all these 10x10 body bags weigh close to 35 lbs and the pole bags likewise, weight about 35lbs. Feel free to contact us with any other questions.

A: There are several differences, but the main differences are the windows. The basic model has two windows versus four windows. The basic model does not have a gear left, or the bonus pocket hanging organizers, and the basic model also has the duffel bag for storage versus the nicer cinch and strap storage bag

A: The awning on the 10' x 10' tent is 4 feet deep by 6 feet wide. The awning on the 10' x 14' tent is very similar, but it is 4 feet deep by 7 feet wide. Where does it show 72x78"?

A: This means that if you order this in the morning it will ship out the same day. You still choose the shipping method during checkout. The free shipping option is FedEx ground and depending on your location can take 2 to 7 days. They ship from Salt Lake City. The surrounding states take about two days. Q: To use this as a base camp with cots and gear, how many people will fit comfortably? I know it says six, but that usually means no gear and ground sleeping.

A: The 10'x10' tents are usually quite sufficient to hold 6 people, depending on the amount of gear. With 6 people, a general layout might place 5 people side by side with their feet facing the entrance, that would give them each roughly 2' of space from side to side, and plenty of space lengthwise. An additional person could be placed at the opposite end of the tent where the others are facing, that person would also have plenty of space. Their should be enough room for gear in addition to that. However, the best way to make sure is to measure a 10'x10' space on your yard or somewhere in order to visualize, or map out the needed space for sleepers and gear.

A: I have this tent and there is enough room for maybe 3 people plus gear. My wife and i have plenty of room with gear for a long weekend. There would not be enough room for hunting with a couple of buddies.

A: There is no official wind rating. The manufacturer does not recommends using this in high winds. Having said that we have tested it independently and it has withstood up to 40 mph wind gusts.

A: Both perform extremely well so this is a close one. The 12x9 would outperform the 10x10, because it has the additional ability to use guy ropes that can be staked down and provide extra reinforcement in wind.
