Looks great, Works great

We ordered this 8x17.5 lifetime shed to replace an old 9x9 metal shed that wasn't in great shape. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, even instructing on foundation requirements. The parts were all included and easy to find with box and bag labels. I really appreciated that this kit came with a floor to attach to the foundation, rather than needing to add a floor later. We were able to complete this build in a weekend with 2 adults and 2 (sometimes helpful, sometimes not) teens.

Looks Good And A Good Size.

My wife bought this a year ago. I put it up with a few helpful assists from my wife. I used it for a year until October 10th when it got blown over by Michael. I was going to junk it but partially disassembled and reassembled it over two days. All I had to order were the two sets of door latches. Read directions carefully! You will be proud of your work. Awesome Product

I bought the Lifetime 20x8 shed nearly a year ago. . what a happy buying decision I made! This product a wonderful addition to my backyard not only in appearance but in functionality. I had this shed professionally installed by recommended factory installers and they did a wonderful job on this installation. I highly recommend using installers that know what there doing. Greatest Customer Service

I bought a 12x8 Lifetime shed from another vendor. Unfortunately we didn't realize that a piece of that shed was damaged until it was nearly completed. We called the vendor who was extremely willing to exchange the product but we would have to take the entire shed down and send it back for an exchange. If you've ever put something like this together before, you know that this is not the easiest option. So I called Lifetime Sheds directly and got the greatest customer service from both Chuck and Bruce who helped me at different times. Without having any difficulty, they ensured that I'd have my part asap and instructed me on the best way to disassemble a portion of the shed to do so. Well Designed Light Weight Structure

This is a very well designed light weight structure. It's easy enough for a small lady to build. The roof, and main door gable were big challenges. I would have color coded the tubing for the two doors since they were different. Instructions are complicated. Tool parts are labeled, if the little plastic bags could also note where they were designated, that would eliminate guessing in the process (i. e. roof parts, windows parts. . . etc). Who labeled these parts??

After opening all of the boxes and taking inventory of all the parts, the assembly of this shed was not too bad. However, it will literally take an entire day just to do that, due to the lack of proper labeling of parts. Some things were miss labeled, while many things weren't labeled at all! I can honestly say that the majority of the time spent on this project was spent identifying what was what. Also, one of the doors was badly damaged but I was able to make it work with a significant amount of tweaks. This is not a project for someone who is not handy. Other than that its been a couple of weeks and I am pleased with it so far. Winter is coming so time will tell.

Q: Can you install the side door on either end of shed (ie: door is show installed on left end of long side but we want it on the right end closer to where the end door is shown, is it modular in that way?) Basically can the door on side be installed further to right. Thanks!

If you've got a set of double doors (one on the long end and one on the short end) you can place them on either side as long as you keep one on a long end and the other on a short end. A: We don't provide installation on any of our items. Most customers assemble these items themselves (and the owner's manual is available if you'd like to take a look at it). If you do hire out assembly, we recommend finding a local handyman through mobile apps like: Takl, Angieslist, thumbtack and Homeadvisor We have also found that customers are far more successful at getting more competitive local assembly/installation rates if you join a local facebook classifieds group and create a post like, "Looking for a licensed and insured handyman to assembe my ......." You are likely to get several competitive bids eliminating the middle man.

A: It has a plastic roof blow molded in the shape of shingles. It has plastic flooring. Although the lifetime sheds include a floor, the manufacturer recommends placing the shed on a flat structure such as a wooden foundation made of treated 2x4's and OSB board that you can pick up from your local home improvement store. The instructions show just how to build it and what materials are needed. The other recommendation is a concrete slab. The concrete slab is more pricey to erect. It is very important to make sure it is flat and drains well. If it isn't flat you may run into issues with your doors closing properly. Feel free to contact us with any other questions.

Q: Can I order with one larger (wider) doors? My John Deere Tractor is 55.2" wide and it would be very difficult to drive it thru the 58" wide door opening

Q: Is there any hardware provided to anchor the shed to it’s foundation?

A: The actual hardware to attach it to the foundation is sold separately. If you're attaching it to a concrete slab you will need concrete anchors, and lag bolts and washers if you are anchoring it to a wooden foundation. The instruction manual tells you exactly what you need. It's pretty simple.

Q: What kind of floor is in this building?

A: It includes a plastic floor. The manufacturer recommends placing the shed on a flat structure such as a wooden foundation made of treated 2x4's and OSB board that you can pick up from your local home improvement store. The instructions show just how to build it and what materials are needed. The other recommendation is a concrete slab. The concrete slab is more pricey to erect. It is very important to make sure it is flat and drains well. If it isn't flat you may run into issues with your doors closing properly. Feel free to contact us with any other questions.
