A: The 60075 8x15 shed doesn't come in 10x15 I'm sorry to say. The 8x15 would be the closest to 10x15. The next size would be 8x17.5 or 8x12.5.

A: Although the lifetime sheds include a floor, the manufacturer recommends placing the shed on a flat structure such as a wooden foundation made of treated 2x4's and OSB board that you can pick up from your local home improvement store. The instructions show just how to build it and what materials are needed. The other recommendation is a concrete slab. The concrete slab is more pricey to erect. It is very important to make sure it is flat and drains well. If it isn't flat you may run into issues with your doors closing properly. For a concrete platform, we recommend using a hammer drill, 5/16" (8 mm) masonry bit, for concrete screws measuring 3/8" x 2" (10 mm x 5 cm) and Fender washers to go with those screws measuring 3/8" x 1" (10 mm x 2,5 cm) Fender Washers. Do not exceed a 3/8” diameter screw. Refer to your local hardware store for this hardware. For a wood-framed platform, we recommend using a drill, 5/16" (8 mm) drill bit, Lag Screws measuring 3/8" x 1 1/2" (10 mm x 4 cm) along with Fender Washers that are 3/8" x 1" (10 mm x 2,5 cm). Do not exceed a 3/8" diameter screw. Refer to your local hardware store for this hardware.

A: If you have a concrete slab, you do not need to build a wooden base. The shed does include a plastic floor which would go right on top of your concrete slab. Just make sure the slab is completely flat where you will need to shim it.

The manufacturer does not recommend painting the shed; though you can talk to your local paint supplier for recommendations on painting this type of plastic. If you need the order to be pushed out, then please call us at 86-308-5484x17 to place your order. We can then select a shipping date and hold the order until then to ensure that you will receive your product when you want it.

Q: The door latch assembly hits when I try to close the doors. I have reread the instructions several times and can't find where I assembled anything wrong. I have to have both doors open and shut them together to get past the bumper plate on the left hand door as the nuts that hold the inside latch assembly hit the bumper plate when the left had door is closed. Any suggestions as to what I need to do to fix this problem?

I have owned and assembled a number of different brands of plastic sheds over the years, I have to say this is the sturdiest one I have ever built. All parts were there with no damage from shipping. Received shipment in a timely manner. The customer Service person was outstanding answering all of my questions and keeping me informed as to the delivery process. I will be ordering from them in the future.

We spent most of time building the foundation, using pavers as a base for the shed. Then we spent another 4-5 half days to installing the shed. It's always difficult to put the first piece of wall or roof, but the next piece is much easier. We are quite old people, not easy to learn to build new things. If we can do it, everyone should have no problem to do.

My wife and I constructed and assembled the 8 x 15 shed in about 6 hrs over 2 days. We were slowed somewhat by each day being a bit over 100 degrees. The directions must have been improved or the previous complaining customers can't read or ???. They were great and very easy to follow. One key for us was the driver I used, a M12 Milwaukee adjustable torque drill/driver. Changing the torque for the different receiving plastic. Still stripped a few but very few. We will be putting another one up in a few weeks and as long as the temperature cools off a little, it shouldn't take more than 3 or 4 hrs. Oh yes, one last point I'm old and my wife is a bit younger (77 and 69).

Impressive shed
When all the dust settled, the shed is surprisingly stronger than you would imagine. But being in south Florida and dealing with yearly hurricanes, we went above and beyond by attaching it to a cement pad with Red Head concrete lag shields and a 2 by 4 interior skeleton. And by adding shelves on both sides and the along the back, a tank could not knock this puppy down. Very impressive shed for the money. Only missing one metal rod that goes over the doors and under the gable end, but used 2 x 4's to beef it up either way.

I like this shed!
The shed arrived in good shape. May I suggest a redo of your instructions. Start with the order of tasks. Use more photos and links to videos accessible on smart phones. The insertion of plexiglass took me quite a while to figure out. Get a boy or girl scout troop to help you. I like this shed!

Easy Build
Built this shed over a few days instead of all at once. Pretty easy to continue where left off. Only a few areas that gave me slight grief building the shed alone. Not so much it could not be done though. And now, time to fill it!
