Peaks Island Shed #2

We built one of these Lifetime sheds on our property on Peaks Island Maine two years ago. It survived well those two years until a huge maple tree limb in our yard broke off in August this year and took out the shed. I quickly put in an order for a new shed and my friend Tom and I put it together last week. Took us only 8 hours to do since I was now an expert at putting them together. Great Buy.

Great shed! Took a couple hours to build but super easy and very simple. It’s very sturdy and lots of room! It looks amazing and I’m very very glad I didn’t spend $5k plus for some of the competitors. It’s already been through rain/snow and I haven’t had any leaks.

Great Customer Service

Love the shed was missing pieces customer service sent them right out still waiting 7 days later for Fedex delivery but that was not lifetime’s fault . The 8x10 shed that I got is great quality. Easy assembly overall very satisfied with it .

Best Service I Have Ever Experienced

I purchased a shed recently and when I went to pick it up I found one of the two boxes had been damaged. Once I got it home and went through the contents I found some damaged parts and some parts missing. Sent an email to Lifetime told them what I found and asked to be told how to get this resolved (I was willing to pay shipping etc. ) Justin in Customer Service was extremely responsive and super helpful. Pictures were requested of the damaged pieces which I provided. Within about one week all the parts were delivered - at no cost to me! You simply cannot beat this level of service.

High Quality Shed

The 10 x 8 shed is a replacement for a metal shed. The Lifetime shed is much stronger high quality construction and the end result is a shed with more usable space. Assembly is time consuming and not easy but can be done by two adults. Even with the copious instructions in the assembly manual we found it valuable to contact Lifetime with assembly questions on two or three occasions and found them extremely helpful. We broke a part during assemble and they sent us a package of replacement parts at no charge. Customer service is outstanding.

Fast Shipping: Orders for the "60243" generally leave the warehouse the next business day, but can take 5-7 days depending on current demand. Contact us to check current shipping and handling timeframes.
Accurate Tracking: Tracking information is automatically emailed to you just as soon as the order ships out.
Delivery Details: This product ships directly from Lifetime Products in Clearfield, UT. Delivery of this product is via a curbside delivery through an LTL carrier (too big for UPS and FedEx). The customer may be required to be present to sign for the order. The freight carrier is instructed to contact you prior to delivery to set up a delivery appointment. The carrier will unload the product by means of a lift gate. In some cases items may be too large to fit on the lift gate and may require assistance from the customer helping unload box-by-box (takes only a few minutes).
Signing for the Package: When signing for the delivery it is important to note any damage. Damage is extremely rare. We package these to travel both domestically and internationally. However, sometimes the packaging may be slightly damaged, but you may not be sure whether something inside is damaged. In such a case it is a good idea to sign for it and have the driver note it as such. You can still accept delivery. Call or email us with any questions.

Q: Can you see through the windows on the doors and to the side of the doors or they translucent? If I have a Texas agricultural sales tax exemption can that be honored? Does it have a floor? Do the vertical wall pieces fit into the floor? I do not understand the difference between vertical and horizontal panels.

A: Yes, you can see through the windows - they are clear. Yes, we can set you up as tax exempt provided you are using the shed for agricultural use. The sheds do have floors. The vertical wall pieces do snap into the floor. There is no difference on the vertical versus horizontal siding as far as the way it fits into the floor. It's molded into that shape, but goes together basically the same way.
