Awesome Shed

Bought this shed from Costco. Works really good for us. Fairly easy to set up. The You Tube video was a great help too. Showed some easier ways to put it together. Did damage one of my vents and the costumer service was exceptional. Had a replacement vent in a week. This is my second lifetime shed also bought a 10 X 20 five years ago. Still loving it.

Shed Is A Must Have

In March of 2023 the area we live in received a horrific hail storm which left my vinyl shed looking like a large lump of Swiss cheese. After getting Al of the estimates for my insurance company we finally got around to ordering a new shed which we did in October. We finally decided on a 10’ x 8’ plastic shed and base from Lifetime. It Arrived on October 20th. I set to work putting it together it was pretty easy to accomplish using Lifetime’s YouTube videos. I had to contact the customer service department only once and taken care of immediately and was sent some extra long screws to replace some that I had stripped out. I got them within 2 or 3 days. I would highly recommend this shed and Lifetime to anyone who asks. It’s very durable and sturdy.

Lifetime 10 Ft X 8 Ft Storage Shed

Loving my new Lifetime 10 ft x 8 ft storage shed! It's a perfect size replacement for the previous shed (not Lifetime) I lost in Hurricane Ian (2022). After deciding on and ordering a Lifetime shed I unfortunately received the wrong shed but Lifetime was very quick to rectify the order and I received the right dimension shed in good time and order - all parts & material was provided (as per the Lifetime website). Previous to receiving the shed I watched the installation video several times noting previous customers had indicated the manual provided was difficult to follow. I had no problems following the video in conjunction with the manual. I was able to build the Lifetime 10 ft x 8 ft shed with the occasional assistance of one other person in approximately 5 hrs. The shed is very sturdy and all parts fitted together without any problems - I refurbished the previous timber foundation over the concrete rim (base) of the previous shed prior to install. I am very happy with the size shape structural integrity and colour of this Lifetime shed. I've secured the shed to the foundation with timber battens inside the shed - more sturdy than the single drill locations on the shed floor pieces. I've also secured the shed to the foundation with footings and guy-ropes over the roof to minimised any potential loss during future storms/hurricanes given the wind rating of the shed. I've also sealed the external/exposed plastic floor base (approx 1 inch) to the timber foundation with external black sealant to minimise any water ingress under the floor panels. Overall it was a relatively simple project and I am extremely happy with this purchase product and result.

Good product, went together well with one exception. Rod support for center truss too short, may have been for 8X8 instead of 8X10. Substituted wood and able to bolt together under near where support rod would go.

Q: Do you install the shed and take and remove old shed

A: We don't provide installation on any of our items. Most customers assemble these items themselves (and the owner's manual is available if you'd like to take a look at it). If you do hire out assembly, we recommend using the app/website called Thumbtack. It connects you with local installers. You type in what you're looking for an it will give you a price. We are not affiliated with them, but I personally used have used it and highly recommend it based off of customer's feedback.
