Lifetime Youth Basketball Hoop

This is a great basketball system from Lifetime Products for aspiring basketball stars. This basketball hoop can adjust easily from 5.5 ft. to 7.5 ft., allowing youngsters to start learning the game of basketball. These portable basketball hoop systems are powder coated on all steel parts to avoid rust. This system can be moved with ease from place to place with its portable rollers. This youth basketball hoop includes a 5-year factory warranty from Lifetime Products. All metal parts of this system are powder coated to help resist rusting. This system is great for young basketball players to start learning the game.

Backboard

Dimensions: 32 inches W x about 28 inches H.
Backboard frame: high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic.
Backboard material: HDPE plastic.

Rim

Youth-sized rim, 15 inch diameter.
Rim uses a static mount.
Includes all-weather, white net.
Net weight: 50 grams.
Net attaches to rim via welded metal hooks. No plastic clips.

Pole and Height Adjuster

Uses a telescoping pole to raise and lower the rim height.
Pole size: 2.5 inch round.
Pole construction: 3 pieces.
The telescoping pole device is activated using a push pin on the pole.
This mechanism is designed to be used with adult supervision.
Rim height adjusts from 5.5 feet to 7.5 feet in 6 inch increments.

This was the best basketball hoop I could have purchased for my 6 yr old grandson! It's sturdy and adjustable which will last him for a long time!! Definitely worth the money.

Great Basketball Hoop

Works perfect especially for smaller yards, putting together was a little bit of a hustle but when you watch the video it works. Needs two people to assemble. But hoop is perfect and sturdy.

Perfect For Way Elementary Age Children

My son got this for Christmas. He was five years old. He loved it. The high is adjustable and makes him feel confident that he can shoot a basket into the hoop. It will also be able to grow with him. It is very sturdy

Great Indoor Basement Hoop

Pros:Indoor winter practice, Fits in basement ceiling, Heavy durable Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. The kids have grown and I replaced the our plastic hoops in the basement with this heavier metal one. It is short enough to fit with our ceiling. This hoop supports their increasing skills and they love to dunk on this hoop.

VERY STURDY, PERFECT SIZE

Pros: Nice looking, Built well, Perfect height Best Uses: Young kids, Indoor and outdoor Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I purchased this goal for my 5 year old son for Christmas. I researched goals looking for goals under 8 feet tall and this goal is the only one that received 5 stars on several websites. The goal fits in the basement perfectly and will later be moved outside when the weather gets warmer. The goal is well made and the goal does not even wobble, VERY SAFE. The backboard is also made 100% better than the other goals I have seen which are thin and almost hollow feeling. The only problem we had with the goal is that the pole was hard to turn by following the instructions which caused the pole to get damaged. No worries because when I called the 800#, the representative had a new pole mailed within two days, great customer service with no hassles!!! I am pleased with my purchase and my son loves this thing!

A: Children ages 3-10 will likely benefit best from this system. With the smaller size and low rim heights available, young players will be able to more quickly develop the arm strength to shoot the ball up to the rim. The smaller rim size also is meant to accommodate smaller basketballs that will also be encouraging to young players as they develop their shooting.

A: This system uses a telescoping pole. The mechanism is engaged by pushing a pushpin on the pole and then sliding the pole in and out to raise and lower the backboard. This design is meant to be used by a responsible adult.
