A: It's very sturdy, but can wobble if hit exceptionally hard. If wobbling is your concern, please consider model 91009 that has extra base supports.

Q: Is the base heavy enough so it will not fall over easily?

A: It definitely cannot fall over easily. In fact it’s impossible to get it to fall over just by playing tetherball. As long as the base is full of water you would need an adult to put all their weight to get it to tip sideways.

A: This is ideal for ages 4+ but that also depends on what you fill the base with. If you fill it with sand it will be more sturdy than just filling it with water.

A: That depends on the state that you want it delivered to. These ship from Clearfield Utah, so at this point East Coast orders may not make it. Orders from Oklahoma, and west of that should still make it on time for sure. Central U.S. Orders are a maybe.

Q: Do I need to bring this in during the winter?

A: It is not required, but it will prolong the life of the tether ball set. The main concern is probably the rope and ball. There are replacements available if your rope or ball becomes damaged or worn out.

Q: Do I need to drain the base in order to move it around?

A: It is much easier if you drain it, but it isn't completely necessary. I have one of these in my backyard and I have never drained it, and have moved it several times. However, it is recommended that you drain it when you move it. If you are simply moving it a foot or 2 away, then you can lean it one way or the other and roll the base into place. If you are moving it far distances, then I would recommend draining it.

Very good - we and kids have had a great time - not too hard to assemble - instructions could be a bit deeper -- but once assembled, it worked great - filling with water might not be quite as solid as filling with sand, but works fine for little kids, mid=sized kids and adults

Tetherball Set
I purchased this set as a gift for my 11 year old granddaughter for Christmas. It has been the most fun for her and her grandparents too. So simple to set up with durable stand with great instructions. We filled the base with water. No problems with stability. Great buy!!

Great Fun
Since we'll be staying home more this summer, we debated over getting tetherball or basketball hoop and went with tetherball because playing it is quieter than bouncing basketballs, and because eventually the courts near us with reopen. But there's no other place to play tetherball locally. We all love this, it seems very sturdy, and it makes us feel like we're away at camp when we play.
