Lifetime Basketball and Rim Combo 90010

This backboard combo from Lifetime Products features a 48 in. Steel-Framed Shatterproof Backboard and a Slam-It Rim. The backboard has a clear, shatter proof playing surface that gives you the look and play of pro-style glass. The powder-coated steel frame improves rigidity and rebound, and the UV-protected graphics will not fade or peel over time. The 18 in. Slam-It Rim is built for aggressive play, and is made of 5/8 in. solid steel with 1/2 in. steel braces and double compression springs includes a heavy-duty net. The universal mounting bracket is available for purchase and provides a solid attachment when mounting the backboard directly to a roof, eave or wall. So enjoy the versatility of a backboard combo from Lifetime Products and play the game the way you want.

Outstanding!

This company is outstanding. We bought a basketball backboard directly from Lifetime Products almost 4 years ago. It performed great up until a couple of weeks ago when a 3 point shot fatally damaged the backboard. I called Lifetime Products they had me submit a warranty claim with pictures. In a few days they shipped me a replacement. This company is excellent in every way: product quality customer service and after-sale support. Buy with confidence!

Exactly What We Needed To Fit A Garage Wall Mount

After 1 week very happy instructions were good maybe these have been improved recently just took some patience to figure things out. I did check the nuts fitting onto the bolts the day before we installed and the nuts did not go on smoothly to any of the bolts so I recommend you try these before and make sure you have all the hardware necessary. A few dollars on new nuts that went on smoothly saved a lot of frustration. The hardware LifeTime provides appears very cheap bolts and nuts at Ace are cheap and will be easier to install. I also used the Lifetime Universal Mount to hang the backboard and same thing all the hardware was there just had to get new nuts that fit. I used 5/16" threaded rod to mount the adapter all the way thru my brick to the inside of the garage with nuts and washers on each end to make sure it was secure You can cut the threaded rod with a hacksaw. I didn't trust just using brick screws.

Good product...great sound!

Used Lifetime bracket and mounted on heavy steel pole set in concrete. Very solid.And what we like is the "thunk" sound when ball hits back board...very nice sound!Currently set at 7.5 feet for 5 and 8 year olds. But backboard not heavy and will slide up and down on pole easily (just loosen u-bolt nuts).

Replaced 52" backboard and backboard (and rim) now tilted backward ~10 degrees

Delivery Details: This product ships directly from Lifetime Products in Clearfield, UT. Delivery of this product is via a curbside delivery through an LTL carrier (too big for UPS and FedEx). The customer may be required to be present to sign for the order. The freight carrier is instructed to contact you prior to delivery to set up a delivery appointment. The carrier will unload the product by means of a lift gate. In some cases items may be too large to fit on the lift gate and may require assistance from the customer helping unload box-by-box (takes only a few minutes).

Q: What is the hole spacing for bolts to mounting bracket

A: This will work with either the lifetime 9594 Fixed Height Bracket or the 1044 Adjustable bracket. If you are trying to mount to an existing system then Basketball Compatibility
First: Is the system made by Lifetime?
Second: Is the pole round?
Third: Is the pole diameter 3.5-inches?
Fourth: Is there a Y-Shaped bracket where the mounting arms mount to the pole?
If you can answer yes to all of these, than any Lifetime backboard and rim combo we sell will work with your hoop. If you answer no to any of these, than the backboards we sell will definitely not work with your system, and you will need to call 1-800-225-3865 to get the backboard you need.

Q: Does this board have or come with mounting brackets to attach to existing wall mount ?

A: The mounting brackets are sold separately. They are models 9594 which mounts to a roof, wall, or pole. There are also adjustable brackets model 1044 that mounts to a wall or pole, but not a roof.

A: Yes. This rim is a spring-loaded rim and holds up well to dunking. However, you should never hang on the rim for any residential system, including this one.

A: Yes, absolutely. No basketball manufacturer; however, recommends hanging on the rim. Dunking and hanging are two different things.
