This in-ground basketball system from Lifetime Products features a 54 in. acrylic backboard with a Pump Adjust™ height adjustment mechanism that adjusts from 7.5 to 10 feet high in infinite height increments. It also includes a Slam-It Pro® Rim with an all-weather nylon net and a 4 in. square steel pole. So bring the arena to your home with a residential basketball system from Lifetime Products.

Adjustment Mechanism: The Pump Adjust™ features a revolutionary height adjustment with no trigger to pull or handle to squeeze. With infinite height increments from 7.5 to 10 feet, the instant and effortless adjustment action allows players of any age or skill to enjoy the game at their level.

Backboard: An acrylic playing surface gives you the look and play of pro-style glass. The graphics are screen-printed with UV-protected inks for superior color and protection against the elements.

Rim: The Slam-It Pro® Rim is built for aggressive play with an arena-style wraparound brace, supporting a 5/8-inch ring of solid steel. The double-compression springs let you slam it like a pro!

Pole and Base: The 3 pc. 4 in. square steel poles feature a patented friction-weld joint that safeguards against unwanted movement. All Lifetime steel poles are protected with a powder-coated, weather-resistant finish.

Huge goal

First of all, I don't own this, but I checked one out in detail on Black Friday. It is very sturdy. It's nothing like those little ones you see displayed at the supermarket. I am very impressed with the quality of this. I am actually very impressed with all of Lifetime's high-end hoops

Get fast and free shipping on this basketball system. Orders generally leave the warehouse within 2 business days. These basketball systems ship via FedEx. FedEx will simply leave the package at your doorstep if nobody is home. This item generally takes 5 to 7 business days to receive.

Q: Does this item come with a bigger backboard? What's the difference between Acrylic and the glass backboard? Does this come with a pole that can be placed in the ground?

A: This is an acrylic backboard. Acrylic is a clear plastic material that is more durable than glass. The rebound will also be slightly different than a glass backboard. This is an in-ground basketball system. We do have 60" systems; however, they are tempered glass.

Q: 1. I notice many of your competitors include in their in ground basketball systems an added option to contract with a Handy Customer Service for an additional $135... Handy will contact a local professional installer to come to our chosen site and install the entire system... do you offer this service ?2. Is it possible to use a bolt down system rather than the Rebar/concrete process for this product? If so how much does the bolt down system add to the cost of this item? Thanks, Fred

A: We recommend finding a local handyman through an App or web search. As a side-note we have also found that customers are far more successful at getting more competitive local assembly/installation rates if you join a local Facebook classifieds group and create a post like, "Looking for a licensed and insured handyman to assembly my ......." You are likely to get several competitive bids eliminating the middle man. 2: Try model 90568 for a bolt-down 54" system. It's not possible to change it from direct-insert to bolt-down. Q: Does this product come with the anchor kit?

A: This is not a bolt-down model. Rather, the pole goes directly into the ground or you can use an optional ground sleeve.

A: Yes, it is designed for indoor and outdoor use. There is no need to try and protected from the sun or the cold winter elements. It has UV-Protectants and powder-coated finishes to prevent rust.

Q: Will it handle strong winds? Yes, it can handle very high winds. Only hurricane or tornado winds could do damage on this. In the rare instance that the backboard is damaged by wind and separates from the frame those are covered under warranty. What happens if the basketball hoop is damaged when it is delivered?

A: If the basketball hoop has noticeable damage simply have the driver make note of the damage at the time of delivery, then call or e-mail us. We'll send any replacements needed and pick up the damaged basketball goal
