Orange Slam-It Rim 5820 Lifetime Basketball Accessory Double Spring

I bought this rim to install on a custom made wooden backboard. It worked out great.

My hoop needed a 2603 replacement rim; your ad states that a 5620 rim is compatible with all Atlas b'ball hoops. It's not the same; it IS similar; mine has a rounded support hanger. The 5620 is square-backed metal. But I really need a square ended u-bolt instead of the four carriage bolts. I was disappointed that you folks couldn't replace what I have. After all, I DO HAVE an Atlas system. I suppose I will try to straighten my old u-bolt.

The basketball hoop was a replacement for a used lifetime basketball hoop that was bent from falling forward. It works great. It was tricky to install but it was because of the damage from the previous fall to the mount. Very pleased

1st the bad: I ordered it on Sunday and they called me 1st thing Monday to confirm (because delivery address was different from billing). The guy said "we'll get this right out"... They didn't ship until Thursday, which really messed me up because the place I was using the goal was 120 miles from my house and I was planning on being there Friday - Sunday only (plenty of time for the goal to arrive if they had of shipped it on time)... so now, I had to stay in town an extra day to fix on Monday.... only it didn't arrive on Monday, it arrived on Tuesday, which means I had to stay a 2nd extra day out of town. There were several vendors on that other website that starts with an E that were willing to ship 1st thing Monday morning, but I wanted to try Competitive Edge. I wouldn't have added this information to this review, but I emailed Competitive Edge this exact complaint (about the shipping taking 4 days to leave) and they didn't even bother to respond to my email. As far as the Goal, the bottom holes are slotted so that the mounting bolts can be moved (I needed them in the closest position), but the top ones with the springs can't be moved, so the springs are at a slight angle, but still serve their purpose. Now the good part. It's a great goal for the price, it comes with all needed hardware and a brand new, shiny net. It's not the Goal's fault that shipping was slow, so I'm going to give it 5 Stars!

Our portable hoop had fallen over and squashed the rim. WE needed a new one. I searched the net. It was shipped and arrived quickly. Was easy to install with the help of my son and now my son can shoot hoops and play HORSE (I lose all the time)

Bought for replacement. Bolts were backwards on my older model. No problems, easy to change and install using replacement hardware that came.
