Shipping Your Lifetime Climb and Slide Playset: What to Expect

The Lifetime 91142 Climb and Slide Playset is an earthtone backyard play system with two belt swings, a trapeze bar, an 8 ft. wavy slide, climbing wall, rung climber, and elevated play platform. Its powder-coated steel and UV-protected HDPE components arrive unassembled for on-site installation. The packaged shipment weighs approximately 154 lbs.

Shipping Timeframe In-stock orders generally leave the Lifetime Products warehouse in Clearfield, Utah on the next business day, although handling may take 5–7 days during periods of high demand. Delivery timing depends on the destination, freight-carrier route, and appointment availability.

Tracking Information Tracking information is automatically emailed after the order ships. The freight carrier will contact you before delivery to arrange an appointment. If separate tracking numbers are provided, monitor each shipment.

Curbside Freight Delivery This playset ships through an LTL freight carrier because the packaged components are too large for standard UPS or FedEx parcel service. Delivery is curbside, and the customer may be required to be present to inspect and sign for the shipment. Liftgate service is used when possible, but oversized pieces may require customer assistance unloading the shipment box by box.

Delivery and Inspection Inspect the shipment before signing. Check for punctures, crushed areas, torn cardboard, broken bands, exposed steel parts, bent frame components, cracked molded pieces, damaged swing chains, or damage around the slide, climbing wall, and platform panels. Note all visible or suspected damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves. Before assembly, inventory the frame components, platform panels, slide, climbing wall, rung climber, two belt swings, trapeze bar, chains, brackets, hardware, and any selected toddler or spider swing.

Pro-Tip for Playset Delivery:

Prepare a level assembly area before delivery and arrange for sufficient help to move the approximately 154 lb. shipment from the curb. Confirm the 14 ft. 6 in. x 15 ft. 2.4 in. playset area, 7 ft. 2 in. overall height, and recommended 26 ft. 6 in. x 28 ft. 4.8 in. safety zone before selecting the installation location. Assembly, installation, suitable playground surfacing, and any anchoring required by the current manual remain the customer’s responsibility. Keep all cartons, bands, and packing materials until every component has been inspected and the playset has been fully assembled.

This product has a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee!: Simply hang onto the original packaging and contact us within 30 days of receipt if you are not satisfied with this product. We will have the item picked up at our cost and refund you in full. We are that confident you will love this product!

Please note that items must be in their original packaging and in the original condition for this return policy to apply. Also, please be sure to contact us within 30 days of receipt. Lastly, if you are unsure whether this product will fit your needs please contact a customer service expert toll free at 866-308-5484.

Q: Do you offer installation for swing sets?

Asked by: Robin - 3/16/2026

A: You definitely don't need to hire out assembly for this playset. It's very easy to install. Some of the larger playsets like the double tower might be worth hiring out to some people, but not the 91142. There is a free step-by-step video that shows you how to install it and it's the simplest of all the lifetime playsets. biltapp.com/instructions/lifetime-products/climb-and-slide/4067/

Perfect For A Small Backyard

We are so happy with this product! It fits perfect for a small backyard and doesn’t have that bulky feel. The assembly was straight forward and having the video tutorials on the app was helpful. The only small complaint was that the pieces weren’t labeled so we fumbled around a bit with the house shaped piece over the deck. But once that was sorted it was smooth sailing and it feels like a sturdy structure.

great for kids

We've moved twice in the last 10 years and both times the buyers wanted the playsets. They are good quality. Got a third one at our new place.

Sturdy and high quality. Much better than the small cheap walmart ones I see everywhere.

A Lifesaver!

We’ve been using this Climb&Slide Playset for a few weeks now and we absolutely love it! It’s such a lifesaver having a playset in our own backyard for my toddler to play on. The colors blend nicely into our backyard-not too bright! My daughter loves the “bumpy” slide as she calls it. She also loves the road map feature-keeps her busy for hours!! The only thing I wish it came with was a baby swing but we will just buy one separately! Assembly was fairly quick and straightforward! The instructions are very easy to follow. I did 98% of it by myself and it took about 4. 5 hours (including wrangling the baby and toddler while I built it). The size is perfect for our backyard. We don’t have a ton of space so this set is perfect for us! And my husband likes it because it’s still fairly easy to mow around! Overall a really great high-quality and long-lasting play set!

It’s Amazing!

Love this climb and slide play set! The delivery came fast and fit in just one box. Love the colors and the quality is amazing! It’s perfect for my kids! It’s a great addition to our backyard. Love the climbing wall and slide! Definitely recommend it!

Excellent Quality And Features

This has been a lifesaver! We wanted to add something in our yard for the kids and they have played on it nonstop since we put it up! Assembly was straight forward and easy. The quality of the materials are top notch and it is very well designed. The colors are a great balance of neutral and fun pops of color. Our favorite feature is the rock wall a fun alternative to the standard ladder. The size is not too big or too small just right. If you're on the edge about this definitely buy it You will not be disappointed and your kids will love it!
