Great Product

Considering how big it is, it’s super easy to assemble. Everything is pretty easy to figure out and pretty well marked. Our son absolutely loves it!! I doubt this one will fall apart like the wood one we had to replace.

Awesome Family Project

We found the installation challenging but very rewarding. The instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. This was an enjoyable project that brought the whole family together. The monkey bars are a big hit and so is the playhouse with the slides. We plan on having fun and enjoying our play ground for many years to come!

Kids Love It!

We have a 6 4 and 1 year old. The kids have loved this playground as well as the neighbor kids! I know we will have plenty of years of use even for our oldest. It took my husband around 9 to 10 hours to build on his own.

My kids love this set! I have a 5 year old who is a pro with all the amenities and a 1 year old who loves the swing and the slide. It's very sturdy and looks/feels like it will last a long time!

Amazing Product!!!

Extremely impressed with the quality of this product. This playset is built like a tank and I'm very excited about watching my kiddos enjoy it for many years to come. My one complaint was that the larger pieces were labeled in the instructions but not actually labeled so it made things a bit more difficult than it needed to be. Overall though fantastic experience putting this set together

Nice Set, Overall Good Value.

To start we purchased this set because it required less routine maintenance as compared to the wooden sets sold at various big box stores. It also had a nice mix of elements/features and when inspecting similar lifetime sets found locally we found them to be well built with a nice finish. The delivery came in about 2 weeks on an extra long pallet 3 times the length of a a standard pallet. The delivery company was ABF and the driver took great care in unloading the set and encouraged us to inspect for damage. A standard pallet Jack could not move the set so the pieces were off loaded individually. Overall we found the instructions to be good and we didn’t have to use any of the provided spare parts. A level area to start is key or find a method to have each leg be made level. Additionally we found a response from lifetime to a posted question online regarding the placement of the set in relation to the recommended depth of mulch. This is important as the set is not to be placed on top of the mulch and the instructions do not address this well. We had 2-3 adults aid in assembling at various points and it definitely cannot be easily assembled solo. The set could be put together in a weekend 10-12 hours possibly less time with more aid. Overall not a hard build but definitely time consuming. I would classify myself as an advanced DIYer/ civil engineer professionally.

Delivery Details:This product ships directly from Lifetime Products in Clearfield, UT. Delivery of this product is via a curbside delivery through an LTL carrier (too big for UPS and FedEx). The customer must be present to sign for the order. The freight carrier is instructed to contact you prior to delivery to set up a delivery appointment. The carrier will unload the product by means of a lift gate. In some cases items may be too large to fit on the lift gate and may require assistance from the customer helping unload box-by-box (takes only a few minutes). The delivery address must be accessible for the truck to deliver the order. If the driver cannot get to the delivery address, the customer can either meet the driver where the truck and reach, or the customer can make arrangements to go to the delivery terminal to pick up the shipment from the carrier.

Signing for the Package: When signing for the delivery it is important to note any damage. Damage is extremely rare. These are packaged to travel both domestically and internationally. However, sometimes the packaging may be slightly damaged, but you may not be sure whether something inside is damaged. In such a case it is a good idea to sign for it and have the driver note it as such. You can still accept delivery. Call or email us with any questions.

Q: My church is totally upgrading our current playground…our play set had become unsafe and weather worn. It has been removed. So we are needing an immediate RE-DO.?? I like your play set, 99240, earth tone colors….before I get deeper into the ordering process…. Do you offer additional pieces in this same color scheme? I was considering ordering the 99240 ——plus 1 free-standing spring-type piece for 1-2 children or a see-saw or merry-go-round. My overall total budget is $4500…. A: Each state has its own specific requirements in order to market something as a commercial playground. Elementary schools have different standards than daycare's for example. All of our playgrounds are commercial grade, but are only warrantee for residential use for that reason. We get a lot of schools, apartment complexes, and homes to purchase these playgrounds. If you decide to order one, please keep in mind that the warranty is only for residential use. We don't carry merry-go-rounds I'm sorry to say. Shipping is free within the 48 lower states.

Q: Can the clubhouse and the monkey bars switch sides?

A: Yes and no. You can basically flip the clubhouse 180 degrees, but that's about it. The second slide not attached to the clubhouse would run toward the opposite direction. I hope that makes sense. There's no scenario to have both slides going the same direction if you flip the club house to face the opposite side. If you have enough yard it's actually kind of a fun idea to have the slides in opposite directions.

Q: Can we purchase the product and select a future delivery date over 7 days in the future?

A: The carrier calls to set up a delivery appointment and do their best to work around your schedule, but they have a complicated schedule as well with their truck loads so in most cases this would work as long as the product is in stock and the carrier delivers directly to your area without using a connecting carrier.

A: These come unassembled. The owner assembles them. Sometimes people hire it out, but it's not like putting the wooden playsets together. These are much easier.

A: These are designed to be built by the customer, but you are welcome to hire someone to build it for you. We don't do installation ourselves, but you can call 800-336-3865x1 to be set up with an assembly company in your area, we also have a list of recommended installers: https://www.competitiveedgeproducts.com/directory/assembly-installation-services.htm Or you can find a local handyman through mobile apps like: Takl, Angieslist, and Homeadvisor. We have also found that customers are far more successful at getting more competitive local assembly/installation rates if you join a local Facebook classifieds group and create a post like, "Looking for a licensed and insured handyman to assemble my ......." You are likely to get several competitive bids eliminating the middle man.

Q: Hi, we live in California and our state asked there to be a warning on chemicals that can be harmful. I noticed your swing sets have the prop 65 warning. What part of your swing sets have nickel and should I be concerned? They look like beautiful swing sets and I would love to order one but I’m a little worried about my grandchildren being exposed to nickel. Should I be concerned?

A: You will notice that almost all products on every site and many locations (including Disneyland) have a Proposition 65 warning. Most likely almost every item you have bought recently has a proposition 65 warning somewhere. Lifetime is a reputable company that has been in business for many decades and has sold millions upon millions of items, they have never to my knowledge had even a single issue with this sort of thing.

Q: I can not for the life of me understand why this particular unit costs more that if I bought this one Lifetime-Swing-Sets-Big-Stuff-Playset-Clubhouse-90042-Earthtone-Colors combined with this one Lifetime-Swing-Set--90143-Monkey-Bar-Playground-with-Slide-earthtones-color. I am actually paying MORE than if I bought the two separately and am getting less material collectively! What the heck! I can't find a manufacturer website to inquire with them. This was the one I wanted but I can't justify this purchase given what I have just discussed. Anything we can do here? Thank You, Mary

A: The product pricing and marketing aspects of these playgrounds can be very complex. The manufacturer provides promotions and sometimes those depend on the amount of inventory-they can be very complex. Sorry for the confusion.
