I LOVE this shed! It’s high quality and in my opinion it’s the best “build on site” shed on the market. I love the 8 foot wide by 20 feet long dimensions because it fit perfect for my side yard.

Excellent Shed - Installation Went Smoothly

I just finished assembiling my 8x20 lifetime shed. I didn't run into any issue until the end when I wasn't happy with the gaps around the top of the doors under the gable. I ended up removing a few screws and using a heavy hammer to better seat the gable and reduce the gap to a good margin. If yours doesn't seem to be fitting during assembly it is worth wrestling and or pounding it into place before proceeding. Overall the shed is great and I am very happy with the design and construction.

I Really Love This Shed! Once It Was Assembled! During Assembly, Not So Much!

I purchased this shed to use as a workshop when I retire. After the wife seen it assembled she wanted half! So now I have a He Shed She Shed! Overall the assembly was easy to understand but there was a couple of times that the written instructions did not match with the online assembly video but I managed to get it figured out. I had concerns about the ability of the shed to withstand high winds. I built mind on a gravel pad 6 inches deep. I purchased two of the Lifetime 8'x10' steel foundation bases. I bolted them together and used 40 earth anchors on the inside of the frame to secure it to the ground. I also framed the inside using 3 deck screws throughout the framing process. We had a storm pass through with 92 mph winds. I expected the roof to get blown away but the next day everything was still standing and no damage! I was very impressed. So far I have completed the framing installed the radiant/vapor barrier ran electricity and started on the wall panels when the weather turned extremely cold so I had to stop construction. I have attached photo of what I have completed so far and how I did it. I hope to have it completed before Summer.

Q: What's the Difference Between the 60456 and 60351 Sheds?

A: The model 60456 and 60351 sheds are basically the same with a few differences as follows:
60456 comes with 2 qty. 90" x 9" shelves, 2 qty. 905" radius shelves and 8 large sky lights.
60351 comes with 1 90" x 9" shelf and ridge skylights.
Other than these differences, these sheds are made of the same materials and same production.

Q: Is a concrete foundation best? Is it suggested to make the foundation slightly larger, for example the 8x20 shed, the foundation 9x21?

A: Concrete is best, but you can build a wooden foundation as well. The instructions show you exactly how to make it, but it needs to be 8x20 or bigger so you would be just fine. Feel free to contact us with any other questions.

A: The fl oor dimensions are a bit smaller than those of the roof; therefore, you will need to builld a level surface of 238 1/4" x 93 1/2" (6,05 m x 2,38 m)

A: They aren't currently making 8' shed extension due to limited capacity, so I recommend ordering the size you need to begin with. We are hoping to have extensions available sometime next year.
