Awesome Addition To Our Back Yard

I love the new shed but I found it very challenging to assemble. I finally figured it out and it all came together. You must take every stated step to make it work right but it is a very cool shed once you are done. My wife and I assembled it together although I mostly needed her assistance to help hold up the parts, etc. Fence Company built us a Shed platform deck

Love It

Great shed so far, it's only been up for about a week so far, but we love it. There are a few spots in the instructions that could've been a little clearer, but all in all, we were able to figure it out.

Cool Shed

I bought this 3 years ago very nice shed a lot of screws and labor but overall very nice not the best in direct sun as will have flaws like anything else in high heat but performs well the windows i never open because they will get all scratched up but a cute feature it does look like a cute little home and the neighbors like it compliments but for ruggedness its Okay I am more a solid tough shed guy but this one does its purpose Thanks for the Excellent Customer Service you guy's Rock A+++ there Thanks Joe and Jen!

Lifetime Shed

I purchased this shed about 13 months ago. I had been trying to get this shed for almost 2 years. I finally was able to purchase this shed and wanted to do everything right in the best interest of my shed. Cement foundation was a must for stability. Also at the time of purchase but after the shed was delivered I paid the same company I purchased from to have the shed professionally installed. Nothing but the best for my shed; however to make a long story short despite all my efforts somethings went wrong but what I can say after much communication with my people I finally spoke to the people at lifetime Shed and giving much consideration they were not only understanding but compassionate in regards to all I was going through and they immediately went into repair and recovery mode. They found someone to come out to look at my shed to find what was wrong and made the necessary repairs and corrections. I am so grateful and can truly say what I experienced with them in my dilemma is not only outstanding professional ethic but extraordinary customer service. Thank you so much Lifetime for a business ethic model that need to be followed by many.

High Quality Product

Now that I have assembled this shed, I am very pleased with the design and function. I am also very pleased with the responsiveness from customer service during the assembly process as I had to contact them a couple of times. They were friendly, helpful, and accessible. Now, for the negative: the only complaint I have is the instructions. The illustrations were poor. The parts were not labeled by part, and there were WAY too many typos, leaving me to basically fend for myself. The pictures were so poor that I had most of the structure assembled before I realized I had made a mistake in one of the first steps, leading me to have to take it all apart to correct it, then start over. For everyone assembling a similar shed, be very careful as you assemble and consider reading ahead so that you understand the next steps. This may help you avoid problems like I had. Having said that, I was able to live chat with agents a few times while I kept working which allowed me to get my question answered without it slowing me down. Also, I discovered that I was missing one part and after one quick & painless phone call, they have a replacement on the way. The agent I spoke with was friendly and attentive. The assembled product is perfect for our needs, and the instructions would be the only negative part of the experience (aside from the weather outside during the process, but Lifetime has no control over that : ) )

Lifetime Shed

The shed looks great. But the instructions need improvement. Also the parts need to be labeled better. Some parts are labeled, most are not. Due to this it takes twice as long to put together than it should.

Very Poor Quality.

I bought this lifetime shed 15x8 last year, not even a year nothing but problem. I go inside the shed once in a while I see screw all over the floor and I have to screw it back in and the material on this lifetime shed are very poor quality. Not even a year old I have to order parts replacement and fix it my self very inconvenient. This product are not recommended to anyone. Please, don’t even think about it of buying it. Delivery Details: This product ships directly from Lifetime Products in Clearfield, UT. Delivery of this product is via a curbside delivery through an LTL carrier (too big for UPS and FedEx). Q: What's the difference between this item vs 60406?

A: The 60406 is the color "gray matters" and the 60138 is "desert tan" with brownish gray doors and roof: The 60138 includes two large bubble skylights. The 60406 doesn't, but has a full ridge line skylight.

Q: Does it come with 2 big window skylights or not? The main picture doesn't show them but if you scroll down through details about shed.....there is a picture with 2 big skylights. I know this model has the ridge skylights but I'm confused as to whether it has the 2 window skylights in addition.

A: In the main picture they are just hidden on the back of the roof. The two large skylights are included as well as the ridge lights.

Q: can it be place directly on grass or does it need to be on some kind of platform

A: Although the lifetime sheds include a floor, the manufacturer recommends placing the shed on a flat structure such as a wooden foundation made of treated 2x4's and OSB board that you can pick up from your local home improvement store. The instructions show just how to build it and what materials are needed. The other recommendation is a concrete slab. The concrete slab is more pricey to erect. It is very important to make sure it is flat and drains well. If it isn't flat you may run into issues with your doors closing properly. Feel free to contact us with any other questions.

A: We can’t ship outside the U.S. and Canada. So most international customers have us ship to a freight forwarder in the U.S. with free shipping, and then they pay the forwarder to send it to them.
