A: The foundation kit is a steel frame. You still need to cut ply-wood to set it on the foundation kit, but the foundation kit is a 16 gauge galvanized steel that is rust and weather-resistant.

A: The 8' shed extensions are out of stock. They aren't necessarily discontinued, but they won't be restocked for several months I'm sorry to say. The 11' shed extension kits are available, but they only work on the 11' sheds.

A: We don't provide installation on any of our items. Most customers assemble these items themselves (and the owner's manual is available if you'd like to take a look at it). If you do hire out assembly, we recommend finding a local handyman through mobile apps like: Takl, Angieslist, thumbtack and Homeadvisor We have also found that customers are far more successful at getting more competitive local assembly/installation rates if you join a local facebook classifieds group and create a post like, "Looking for a licensed and insured handyman to assembe my ......." You are likely to get several competitive bids eliminating the middle man.

Q: My 10x8 Lifetime Shed # 60178 arrived with no instructions nor even a parts list. Do you have these accessible online, and do you also have links to YouTube videos of people building it? Also, I planned on putting my shed on cement 12" square pavers on top of hard ground (maybe even with a gravel base), instead of pouring cement. Is there any reason why I should not do this? A: There is a link to the instruction manual towards the top right of the page. Also, the instruction manual is in the box on the top of the pallet and not in the box marked box number one. Although the lifetime sheds include a floor, the manufacturer recommends placing the shed on a flat structure such as a wooden foundation made of treated 2x4's and OSB board that you can pick up from your local home improvement store. The instructions show just how to build it and what materials are needed. The other recommendation is a concrete slab. The concrete slab is more pricey to erect. It is very important to make sure it is flat and drains well. If it isn't flat you may run into issues with your doors closing properly. Feel free to contact us with any other questions.

A: You need access from the exterior when putting the roof panels on. It is recommended someone is pushing on them from the exterior, while the person interior is screwing them in. A lot of those panels can be done from the inside though if necessary until you reach the final two end panels.

Q: Assuming I put the shed on a concrete base, could I store a large riding lawn mower in this shed? Is there a ramp accessory? Would there be a resin “lip” we would be driving over and possibly break when we put the mower in the shed? Would we actually have to use concrete or would a wood support work as well to support a ride on mower?

A: Yes, if you put it on a concrete base, the floor can support a riding mower, ATV, motorcycle, etc. You would need to make sure that concrete at least extends out to the lip and it should be fine driving right up onto it though a ramp (not included or available through us) is a great idea for the deck of the mower. Q: Will the model 60095 work with the 2.5 ft extension kit? It appears to have 4 small skylights not a full ridge one, but I can't tell if it would work with the style of the doors.

A: There are two extension kits that work with this particular shed (6422 and 60142). However, please keep in mind that if you add an extension kit you must add it to the right or left side of the door. You would need to order two kits if you want the shed to be completely symmetrical.

Q: Is there any shipping charge to NY 11772 and how long would shipping take? How does this compare to Sam's Club storage shed?

A: Shipping to the Continental US is free, Delivery to New York Typically takes 8-10 business days. I was unable to find this on Sam's club's site, so I do not know how they compare, if you find it cheaper anywhere else we will beat it by $10

A: You can anchor it to the concrete using concrete anchors purchased locally at your hardware store.

Q: How can I get the 2 ft extension for the 60095 10 x 8 storage shed and what is the price?

A: You can add either the 6422 or the 6424 extension kit to this shed. This will add 2.5 ft. to the width of the shed (12.5 x 8). There is not a smaller extension kit that these models for this shed.

A: Yes, this item ships via an LTL for a curbside delivery. This type of delivery requires you to be home to sign for the delivery. Appointments are scheduled through the freight company before delivery.

Q: Will the driver move the boxes to the backyard (or anywhere on the delivery property)?

A: No. The delivery is curbside. The driver is contracted to bring the package to your address only. Pleas make sure you have sufficient help available to move the packages when delivered. Most packages can be handled by two people, depending on size.

Q: Do I need to pull the boxes off the truck?

A: Most of the delivery trucking companies we use for this shed will have machines on the back of their trucks, called lift gates, which will lower the boxes to the ground for you. However, in rare instances, the freight truck will not have that machine handy. In those cases, the boxes will need to be pulled off one at a time. Please make sure you plan your appointment accordingly so you sufficient help.

A: Yes, we can ship this item to Canada. However, as our cost to do so is very high. Canadian customers are frequently able to get the product across the border cheaper than we can. If you have a United States address we can ship to, you will typically save money bringing it across the border, paying the required fees, then for us to ship directly to you. Shipping costs on the shed is noted in the "Check Ship Rates" link at the top of the listing.

Q: What is the difference between the 60095 Lifetime garden shed and the 60005?

A: The only difference between these two sheds is the included shelving and storage features. The 60095 comes with 2 90x9 inch shelves. The 60005 has those same 2 90x9 inch shelves and also includes 2 corner shelves and 1 16-inch peg strip with tool hooks.

Easy Shed to install coming with a video as well.
This is my second Lifetime shed. Seeing how I lived on top of a mountain up North no amount of snow was to much weight for this shed as it was common to get 25 inches of snow. 10 years later and it's still like new. Moving into another house being so happy with it I bought the same one. I'm curious though reading the other reviews how these people had problems installing them as ithere is a step by step video showing bei put together. Enough that my 12 year old could do it if he didn't need help lifting the roof into place. Do they have to same problem assembling Legos as well? Review Source: Manufacturer

Great live chat to order replacement parts.
During this last storm, my neighbor's dead tree fell across the roof of my shed. It damaged a rear panel and 2 skylights. I commend the strength of the roof. Great shed!
Shed arrives in two boxes very well packaged. Directions need to be read carefully and one needs to pay attention to put it together. I had all but one screw that connected as expected.
