Lifetime Snow Load Kit

If you live in an area that receives excessive snowfall in the winter, you can increase the roof load capacity of your 15 ft Lifetime storage shed by installing a Snow Load Kit. This kit includes 5 short braces, 1 right gable support brace, 1 left gable support brace, 18 gusset reinforcement brackets to reinforce one roof truss of the shed. These reinforcements will increase the snow load capacity of one roof truss to 30 psf. Hardware included. Compatible with shed models 60079, 6446, 60407, and 60138.

Snow Load Kit

We live in an area that can get a foot of snow or more in a storm so we chose to add this kit. It seems very sturdy and has worked with a 5-inch snow load so far.

Let It Snow

I purchased the snow load brackets for my shed as a form of insurance $135 to protect my $2k shed. The additional bracing should add significant strength to the roof structure. Make sure your driver batteries are fully charged it’s about 150 screws to secure all the braces.

Shed Snow Overload Kit.

It MAY be overkill for snow loads received on Long Island but I’d rather be safe than sorry. Fit finish installation were all great.

Placed an order for the snow load kit and new truss braces and very pleased had how fast they all arrived. If in Canada, you should always have the snow kit installed.... my neighbour has the same shed and with the snow we had this winter his didn't damage, mine did. Great kit for snow regions.

This kit is a great addition to anyone that lives in a snow region. I live in the North East area, and I recently had 12 inches of wet heavy snow that melted for a few hours and re-froze for days. There was no sagging or distortion, and I didn't have to snow-rake the roof. So glad I decided to purchase and install the Snow Load Kit. Installation was fairly easy, but I do recommend that you use a magnetic socket on your cordless drill, as this kit uses self tapping screws into two layers of steel. Review Source: Manufacturer
