Lifetime Shed Snow Load Kit 60144 For 15-Ft. Side Entry

I bought this for my 8'x15' shed (NOT Side-Entry) because that is what was recommended for my shed (from the web page and Lifetime support). It seems to me, that sheds sold in snow country should come with this 'accessory' even if it costs a bit more. Is lifetime expecting half of them to cave in (those whose owners didn't know about it). If not why is it needed/sold? Installing it is not too bad but no where as easy as it could be. No holes are pre drilled (they should be), but the screws, if you are strong and have an impact drill, can make their own hole. The nut on the center threaded rod is near impossible to remove without marking up the rod - that could have been MUCH better designed. So it's certainly an afterthought. And of course there were pieces for a "SIDE-Entry" shed which took the technical support person a while to figure out that they weren't needed for my shed. Now I want to make sure it's understood that the technical support people (well the 2 I spoke to - one during initial assembly and one for this issue) are fantastic. They are helpful, pretty knowledgeable and friendly. I think Lifetime sheds are, in general a good product, but this snow load accessory could be better designed an integrated in the shed.

The same model could be sold all over the world, so it is better that the customer have the option to purchase the snow load kit if they need it.
