A: Personally, I've stood on Lifetime Kayaks multiple times, and haven't had a problem. As long as you have good balance it should work just fine.

Best Entry Kayak On The Market And Best Customer Service Of Any Company

It is light enough for me to haul on top of my hybrid car and to carry to water that I cannot park right at. If you want to get into kayak fishing BUY THIS! Now on to customer service. So I was trolling and got a fish and in my excitement I took my rod out and it popped the rod holder out and it fell in the water and now lies at a watery grave. I called Lifetime to order another and they gladly shipped a replacement at no cost. Who else would do this? Now if they only had a pedal kayak I would be even happier. Thanks Lifetime for allowing me to rediscover my passion for fishing at a very affordable price!

I Love My Lifetime Tamarack Angler 100

I have call the Customer Service line to check status the Agents Jennifer and Angela are the best. They supplied all the information. I was asking for. Quit store of our maiden voyage. My wife had chosen another brand Dolphin SOT in which we were in the middle of the lake the Dolphin took on 20 gallons of water. So i placed her on the Lifetime Tamarack i swam 50 yards with a Dolphin kayak in tow. We Immediately returned that unit and purchased a second Tamarack! So the Lifetime product is of great quality , awesome features and benefits.

Back Comfort
(Originally posted on the Blue and Dark Blue Version of this Kayak) I bought this kayak a month ago following back surgery earlier in year. I knew my sit-in kayak was no longer an option due to back issues. As soon as I paddled off I knew this was a keeper. I could easily adjust the back of the seat as I was paddling (tighten and loosen as needed) and I could plant my heels in multiple foot rest positions (also helpful for back comfort). My husband loves all the fishing features which include rod holder positions and the paddle keepers. So far the hatches have remained air tight. Great buy. Very pleased.

Exactly What I Was Hoping For...
(Originally posted on the Blue and Dark Blue Version of this Kayak) I’ve been researching to purchase a kayak for a few weeks now and kept coming back to this one. My biggest concern was the weight of it. I’m only 5’1 and so with the length and height I was afraid it would be too much. I took the chance and bought it anyway. I am thrilled that I did. With assistance from a kayak cart, I can load, unload and get in the water all by myself. I have only had one chance to get it in the lake so far, I’ve only had for 5 days now, but the “maiden voyage” included my 6-year-old son. I was amazed at the stability with both of us and my fishing gear in it. It did exactly what I wanted even in the wind and choppier lake water. I cannot wait to go again! On another note, my paddle cord snapped the first time I put my paddle in to be held. Not just pulled out, it snapped. Contacted customer service to let them know and no questions asked, are sending me a new one. Fantastic! The day she came home Kayak cart for moving around Maiden voyage of the “USS Motherhood” I’ll take this view any day

Excellent Tamarack Angling Kayaks At A Great Price!
(Originally posted on the Blue and Dark Blue Version of this Kayak) I bought my first Tan Tamarack 100 last summer (2018) for fishing and paddling around on the small lakes, and it has been a great kayak. Light enough to easily throw up on the car, VERY stable in the water. I can stop and pull off my jackets, sweatshirts on the water with out feeling like it's too 'tippy'. Easy to paddle and steer (even for my young teenage daughter). The seat is very comfortable although I highly recommend some scupper plugs to keep the water out. Fishing out of it is great, I've handled Larger Bass and Pike with ease, and can even cast my fly rod with no problems! The attached rod holder is a great design and securely holds all my rod types (spinning, ultra light, fly), and I really like how easy it is to pop on and off for travel, as well as it's full adjust-ability to get the rods out of the ways when I'm casting the fly rod. In fact I liked it so much I bought a second one for fishing with friends, and just paddling with the family in the Blue color. I have to say that the update made to the attachable rod holder is very well though out! The sliding locking mechanism that slides over the front to secure your rod in place is a great new feature! Thanks for that! My only minor complaint is with the paddle, it seems to leak in one of the water level seams, and I can hear water sloshing around inside and cant seem to get it drained out. Minor nuisance at best, easily solved by a little silicone caulk around the mating parts. Tan Base model Tan model, slightly modified for fishing New Blue upgraded model

Great For Fishing And Small Dog Water Taxi.

Then they ask what I had to add and I tell them it is stock. Again they don't believe me. This kayak is a great value. I did a lot of research and am glad I did. I have had my small dog on the bow and she does well. The only thing I did mind is sometimes the seat gets wet and your shorts Get soaked. I recently added drip rings to the paddle and that still did not work. I tried the suggested stadium seat but didn't like being that high off the kayak. Then I got a foam hunters seat cushion to lay on top of the current seat. So far this is the ticket.

Smooth Ride!

The front and back shock cords secure my things but allow easy access. Roomy even for my canine companion to perch and enjoy the views! The foldable padded seat a plus for loading on vehicle. Looking forward to many leisure float and fishing seasons. A relaxing evening on my Tamarack Angler! Sunset lake cruise with canine company - can't get much better than that!
