5821 Slam-It Rim (Black)

When you’re ready to upgrade your standard basketball rim, the Slam-It® Rim is a great choice for your home court! This rim is built for aggressive play with 18-Inch rim and double horizontal springs that provide great flexibility and spring-back action. The powder-coated steel is rust resistant and weatherproof. Hardware and printed installation instructions are provided. A heavy-duty 70 g. nylon net is also included. Compatible with Lifetime backboards, this rim will bring a professional feel to your home court. Invite your friends to your house for hours of basketball fun! This is the rim only. Purchase does not include the backboard, pole or base.

Product arrived with all necessary hardware and was easy to install. Seems to be very well made and likely will be very durable. Looks good too! Customer service was very responsive as well and kudos to them for shipping me a replacement rim quickly when the shipper damaged the first one!

I ordered this rim as a replacement for the original rim that came with the full setup. It is at least equal to, if not better, than the original-great price here, too. To my surprise, it came with all of the accessories (screws, protectors, etc.) needed for a collapsible rim. Recommended.

A: Shipping to your location typically takes 1-2 business days; however, we've had a huge amount of orders lately, and orders are shipped on a first come first served basis. Q: Do you need to have a backboard or can I use my brick wall?

A: Technically, you could use your brick wall. However, neither we nor the manufacturer recommend doing that. The hardware is specifically designed to attach to a lifetime brand backboard and you could run into trouble if someone hangs on the rim and it is improperly anchored to your wall.

A: The Bolts are 5/16" x 4 1/2" with 1/2" hex bolts. However the dimensions of the pattern are standard. The dimensions are not available.
