Q: Does it come with a floor? I have a concrete pad

Asked by: Dennis Johnson - 5/9/2026
A: Although the lifetime sheds include a floor, the manufacturer recommends placing the shed on a flat structure such as a wooden foundation made of treated 2x4's and OSB board that you can pick up from your local home improvement store. The instructions (available to view online) show just how to build it and what materials are needed. The other recommendation is a concrete slab. The concrete slab is more pricey to erect. It is very important to make sure it is flat and drains well. If it isn't flat you may run into issues with your doors closing properly. Feel free to contact us with any other questions.

Q: Reg#60318 shed. What color is it? It looks grey in the pictures. We are looking for a grey shed. Or grey accents . Do you have any sheds in that tone. With dual entry? Thank you

Asked by: Karen - 7/3/2024
A: The shed color may look different in some photos based on the camera and lighting. The shed walls are warm gray. The shed roof and doors are the same color which is dark brown with a hint of gray. Please feel free to scroll through the thumbnail photos and videos for a better feel.

Q: I'm very interested in purchasing the 8x15 Rough Cut shed but I do not want two sets of doors. I only want one set of doors on the long side with no doors on the short sides. Can this be done? Thank you, Nicki

Asked by: Nicki Lambrecht - 8/16/2023
A: It's not possible. The rough cut with the doors on the 15 side also have doors on the 8 side. There is a rough cut 15 shed with doors only on the 8 side, but not on the 15 side.

Q: Can the side doors be installed on either side?

Asked by: Michelle - 6/27/2023
A: Here's how the doors work on the lifetime sheds. If you've got a set of double doors (one on the long end and one on the short end) you can place them on either side as long as you keep one on a long end and the other on a short end. Meaning, you can't place both on short ends and can't place both on long ends.

Q: What Tools needed to put this 8 x 15 shed together?

Asked by: Ken Page - 10/23/2022
A: For the shed itself you will want to have a screwdriver, make sure not to tighten it too much in the beginning, but go back and tighten it more once it is set up. This makes assembly easier and allows some give on the panels for positioning. All hardware is included, though you will need some type of foundation to set it on. The manufacturer recommends placing the shed on a flat structure such as a wooden foundation made of treated 2x4's and OSB board that you can pick up from your local home improvement store. Q: What color is it

Asked by: Eric - 9/25/2022
A: Lifetime sheds come in two colors: Rough Cut Brown and the standard Desert Tan & Brown. ?The Lifetime Rough Cut sheds are officially brown, although they look brownish gray - like putty in my personal opinion. The other Lifetime sheds that are not called Rough Cut are desert tan with brown doors and a brown roof.

Q: How do you recommend attaching the shed to the concrete foundation? Thanks

Asked by: Lina - 9/4/2022
A: Anchoring a Lifetime Shed is the last step in the instruction manual. Around the perimeter of the floor are places where you can optionally place anchors for a concrete slab or wooden base. For a concrete platform, we recommend using a hammer drill, 5/16" (8 mm) masonry bit, for concrete screws measuring 3/8" x 2" (10 mm x 5 cm) and Fender washers to go with those screws measuring 3/8" x 1" (10 mm x 2,5 cm) Fender Washers. Do not exceed a 3/8” diameter screw. Refer to your local hardware store for this hardware. For a wood-framed platform, we recommend using a drill, 5/16" (8 mm) drill bit, Lag Screws measuring 3/8" x 1 1/2" (10 mm x 4 cm) along with Fender Washers that are 3/8" x 1" (10 mm x 2,5 cm). Do not exceed a 3/8" diameter screw. Refer to your local hardware store for this hardware.

Q: I interested in model 60318 shed. I’d like to know if I can get it delivered Monday through Thursday only ?? Not Friday Saturday or Sunday

Asked by: patrick ostranger - 8/9/2022
A: Good question! The carrier calls to set up a delivery and will do their best to work around your schedule. It would most likely work out, but there are exceptions where the carrier may only have a truck that runs in your area on Fridays, for example - super rare, but worth mentioning. Q: Is this shed made with "blow molded" vinyl? Thanks, John

Q: Hi, I just wanted to clarify the availability of this shed. I see that it is backordered, and there is also a message that states "Still shipping daily. Due to unusually high demand please allow between 3-4 weeks for this item to ship out. Orders ship in the order received." Does this mean that there is a good chance this would ship in a few weeks or could it be months out? Thank you!

Asked by: Desiree - 5/28/2020
A: These are manufactured on a frequent basis. The next couple batches have already been pre-ordered, so if you order now yours should ship with the batch after that. If you order now yours should ship within 3-4 weeks. If you wait to order, then it will ship approximately 3-4 weeks from when you do order. once it ships it typically takes 3-7 business days to receive depending on your location.

Easy assembly…with patience
I followed the assembly directions completely, from wood foundation all the way to final assembly for the 8x15 shed. I used both the direction booklet and the Bult app in parallel for each step and it went flawlessly. TIP : Use the book for getting the bolt sizes right, and the app for orientation. I built the wood foundation in one day, unboxed and assembled the trusses and panels in one day, and then put it all together and finished it the next day. The final assembly day takes two people, but the rest can be done by one person. As others have said, make sure the foundation is square and level before starting to assemble or you will have problems. The only problem I had was the skylights screw holes are a bit brittle and weak when screwing in (they break easily). You’ll be tempted to use a drill, but don’t. The shed is very sturdy, and I haven’t had no problems with water leaking during rains so far.

Lifetime 60318 **Great Shed
Very nice shed took a weekend 6 hour each day to complete. Most important part is to make sure you base in completely level. Concrete is probably best, but I had no flat spots where I was installing the shed so I build a wood platform with mostly used lumber except for the 4+4 posted that were installed 2 1/2 feet into the ground below our frost line. Came out great!

Happy Shed Owner
I absolutely love this shed! It's the perfect size and the two entries are so useful. The color is striking! Delivery was as promised and customer service was excellent when I had a question. This is the cheapest price I've seen online too. Set up was fairly straight forward and it took me and my husband a day to put together - about 10 hours. We did spend the night before watching a few "how to" videos which helped a lot. Don't hesitate, buy the shed!
