Just What We Needed To Help Us Stay Active!

High winds knocked over my hoop one night and bent the rim beyond repair, so I ordered a replacement. It was very easy to install and now my 3 kids and I are back to playing together in our driveway every day.

This Spalding 7801SP Slam Jam replacement rim ships from Alexander City, Alabama. The package includes the regulation 18-inch black breakaway rim, white all-weather net, and mounting hardware used to attach the rim to a compatible Spalding or Huffy backboard. The rim weighs approximately 11 lbs.

Q: I have a Huffy 531A backboard and was wondering if this hoop will fit or can you recommend on that will fit the hole pattern ?

A: The Bolt pattern is 2 3/8” on all sides from the middle of each hole. It would need to be the same bolt pattern to fit.

A: To be certain we recommend calling 800-558-5234 to determine whether this is compatible with your existing backboard. If your existing backboard is a lifetime brand or any other brand besides Spalding/Huffy, then it definitely will not be compatible.
