The Spalding 316SP is a heavy-duty adjustable mounting bracket designed specifically for select Spalding backboards. This bracket provides wall, roof, or pole mounting with vertical height adjustment for proper rim placement.
The 316SP bracket mounts to a wall, roof, 3.5" round pole, or 4" square pole and uses a crank-style height adjustment system with a removable adjustment rod. To adjust the height, insert the rod into the adjustment loops and rotate left or right to raise or lower the backboard. This adjustable design is especially useful for roof-mounted installations, allowing fine-tuning to reach a regulation 10' rim height even when roof height varies.
This mounting bracket is only compatible with Spalding backboard models 791564 and 791351. It is not compatible with other Spalding backboards or any non-Spalding backboards. Please verify your backboard model number before purchasing.
