The TETON Sports® Celsius XL Hybrid -18C/0F is roomy sleeping bag that keeps you warm, even below frozen temperatures. Cushioning around zipper and shoulder opening keeps drafts out. Brushed flannel lining offers an inviting, cozy texture. Innovative insulation provides better body heat retention. Convenient fold down top stays put with soft Velcro tabs. No-snag, self-repairing zipper opens on either side or bottom for ventilation. Connects easily to another bag for shared sleeping space.

Q: How are you supposed to clean this sleeping bag without using a washing machine?

A: TETON Sports recommends the bathtub method which is similar to the steps in our Washing Your Backpack post, located here. Its a bit challenging, but it is a better option than your machine for protecting your warranty. 1. Fill a bathtub with warm water and add some mild detergent but only a little bit. 2. Agitate by hand. Your hand agitation coupled with the soap will clean the sleeping bag. 3. Rinse well. 4. Dry. Hang it up in an open area, preferably outside in the sun. Another recommendation is using an essential oil like lemon mixed with water in a spray bottle or use a commercial deodorizer. A clothesline comes in very handy here. Simply open the bag fully, lay it lengthwise on the clothes line, spray your bag with the desired deodorizer or sanitizer, and let it air dry in the sun.
