Delivery Details: This product generally ships directly from the warehouse in Montebello, CA. This item generally ships via a curbside delivery through an LTL carrier (too big for UPS and FedEx). The customer must be present to sign for the order. The freight carrier is instructed to contact you prior to delivery to set up a delivery appointment.

Signing for the Package: When signing for the delivery it is important to note any damage. Damage is extremely rare. The products are packaged to travel both domestically and internationally. However, sometimes the packaging may be slightly damaged, but you may not be sure whether something inside is damaged. In such a case it is a good idea to sign for it and have the driver note it as such. You can still accept delivery. Call or email us with any questions.  PLEASE NOTE ANY DAMAGE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIPT OF PRODUCT.

Q: Can this be secured to the wall or to the ground if castors are removed? My plan is to store heavy items within and securing for earthquake is mandatory

A: The assembly instructions for the Duramax 68010 do not specify a manufacturer-approved method for anchoring the cabinet to a wall or floor, and removing the casters does not provide designated seismic anchoring points. The manual also states that alterations to the cabinet may void the warranty. For an installation where earthquake restraint is mandatory, we recommend contacting Duramax directly at 1-888-444-0104 to verify whether they have an approved anchoring method or hardware before drilling into or modifying the cabinet.
