This awning with walls provides an 8x8 additional camping/living/cooking space for your Kodiak Lodge Tent. With the zip-on and zip-off option, you can put it up and take it down at your convenience. This awning kit includes the roof, walls, and poles to extend your 12x12 Kodiak Lodge with another 8x8 area.

Not compatible with the 10x10 lodge tent.

This must-have accessory for the new Cabin Lodge tent, will increase your tent's living space by 44%. Use just the roof to add an attached awning, or combine with the side walls to create an 8x8 ft. attached room. The roof and side walls are made with Hydra-Shield? 100% cotton canvas. Included are six large windows with no-see-um mesh. The windows can be zipped open or shut. A zippered entry provides convenient access. A poly, sod cloth, trim helps seal the bottom perimeter. Package includes roof, side walls, frame, stakes, guy ropes and carry bag.

Happy Senior

This is a good structure to add to the tent. Although, it does have a lot of 'contact points' on the frame that had to be dealt with during set up. I'm sure that I'll get the hang of it, but the first set up easily took as long as the 12x12 tent. I would not recommend doing this for the first time at night or in the wind. Otherwise, it's great!

Quality Tent

The tent is amazing and so is this addition. Allows me more room to keep gear and I think it's worth putting up even if you don't plan on putting up the walls. It gives a sun shade.

A Must Have

The 1672 Awning Room Add-On is a must have for the 6170 Cabin Tent. It functions perfectly as a mud room and a place to store your cooler, tables, chairs, etc. when you are away from your camping area, especially in locations where there is many other people camping. Since it was utilized as a mud room / storage area, we were able to keep the main cabin area clean free of clutter, leaving plenty of space for our queen size air mattress and the Camp Chef Alpine wood burning stove. The awning was relatively easy to erect and seemed pretty solid. The ground stakes are the exact same size for the main cabin, so they are solid and don't have to worry about getting things mixed up. I'm very satisfied with the quality and functionality of the Awning Room Add-On and glad I decided to get it.

Awesome Kodiak Tent

I purchased the 12x12 lodge 6170 and later decided to buy the enclosure. Taking my time I set it up alone in less than 45 minutes. This is a huge tent and recently did an elk hunt for 10 days and had plenty of room for all my gear as well as my friends gear plus cots. I love the enclosure. It adds another 8x8 to the front. Room for a kitchen or just a dry place out of the rain. Speaking of rain the tent was bone dry inside after 2 solid days of rain. Some people say use a tarp? No sir! No need for anything over this tent. Several of my friends are buying Kodiak tents after seeing mine set up. Super high quality and I will enjoy years of use.

Kodiak Lodge Tent

I setup the tent and it was easier to setup than my last Kodiak Tent. We did have pouring raIn for several days and NO water penetrated the tent. The awning was a little more challenging to setup but look great and holdup as expected.

Q: I purchased the 12 x 16 tent and the add on 8 x 8 room last month and I absolutely love both of these. I would like to purchase an additional 8 x 8 room for the other end of my tent. When I purchased these together, the room had a significant discount applied. Is it possible to purchase the second room at that same price? I will also be purchasing the 10 x 14 floor liner and an additional ground tarp. Any help would be appreciated.

Q: I purchased the 12x12 Lodge tent with the 1672 enclosure. I want to upgrade to the 12x16 lodge tent. Will this enclosure fit the 12x16 lodge tent?
