Purchase/Delivery: Easy process. Shipping was quick and arrived earlier than initial tracking said. Boxed very well (and very heavy)! Thoughts after first week-long use: Great tent! Very comfortable size. This tent has the ability to go as "glamping" as you'd like or primitive. I was able to have space for an inflatable queen bed, gear, bunk bed cots and another twin inflatable mattress for kids as well as having a desk set up so I could get some work done! The tent was immediately put to the test with a massive 5-hour rainstorm. While I could feel the ground underneath becoming saturated with water, the tent remained completely dry the entire time. All the windows provide great ventilation. Set up takes a while with all the stakes, but is very easy to do - even solo. I found a good suggestion of velcro wrapping the guy lines to keep them organized which was helpful and kept in a small container with stakes and mallet. I've read how some use lag bolts and an impact driver - planning to try that. Might get some kind of hard plastic container with wheels for the poles as there is already a hole in that bag. You have to be committed to using a big tent if you buy this. The tent bag and pole bag are both pretty heavy - not something you want to carry far. Drying it out (particularly since we had a rainstorm) is not hard, but takes effort to drag around and flip upside down in the backyard (thinking about hanging it next time). The only improvements I think could be helpful would be to add some kind of privacy divider in the tent - not essential, but would be helpful occassionally. Also there are MANY guy lines that could be tripped on if not paying attention. I'm considering buying the 8x8 add-on to use for an outdoor kitchen or added space to relax (even thought another 8x8 could be used for an outdoor shower set-up in a long-term stay). All in all, though it is expensive, I am happy with the purchase. Seems like it will be a great tent for many years!
