12x16 Stove Cabin Tent Kodiak Canvas 6116

Very easy fast and yet still simple. The first time I set it up in the back yard in 40 mins to try and make sure all parts were included. I’ve been out with this tent in snow, at 5,500 plus ft, camping and it’s been great. I used it with 3 people and then with 4 people and coats with hunting gear. We had plenty of room and my old stove heats it up in minutes. I was very impressed at how fast a shoe box stove can do the same as a big stove.

This is the ideal set up. Nice size. Impressive quality. Had a stove jack. The only thing it needs is an elk tag!

Well-made tent and easy to set up.

I just got back from a 10 day elk hunt in southern Utah where we used the lodge tent the entire time. Temperatures were consistently in the low 20s each night and with a large wall tent stove this was plenty warm. The quality of this tent is excellent. My only gripe is the silicone ring in the roof jack melted and actually caught on fire after we got the fire a little too hot. I honestly have had much hotter fires in my old wall tent with no damage to the stove jack ring. No serious damage occurred to the tent, other than the ring being melted and charred, but I feel it silly to have a fire protective ring catch fire. We were able to comfortably sleep for guys on large cots with the stove. Five guys on cots with the stove was tight but doable. The add-on room/awning works perfectly as a cook shack and I highly recommend adding it to the tent. Set up for the tent was easily done with two people and took less than 30 minutes despite the many stakes that needed to be pounded in. We had high winds and this held up well and the many windows helped vent when the stove overheated us. The sewn in floor was essential with the sandy soil and wind. I purchased a 12 x 16 campus tarp to place inside the tent to act as a floor liner and it worked perfectly at protecting the floor and making cleanup easy.Overall, I highly recommend this tent and would absolutely purchase again. It’s a heavy sucker so eat your wheaties! Love the new tent and forsee lots of use in the future.

Hands down best tent ever owned

Best tent I've ever purchased. The stitching is superb. High quality materials. Withstood against our South Dakota snow and 60 mph winds. It hasn't hailed yet, but I'm curious how it will do during a hail storm (which is common in SD). I'll update this review when it does hail.

The tent is very spacious cozy…The high white ceilings give good day light in there and lights at night take well for being able to see…Easy to set up and take down…I went 10 nights very first time using it…I can’t wait to get back out in it after Christmas…
